It is a jewellery and watch fair. It has its origin in the watch, jewellery and silverware fair, which took place in Leipzig from 1993 to 1996. The Midora is the most important gathering of the jewellery industry in autumn and at the same time it stands for the start of the Christmas business. The trade fair stands include booths where mainly real jewellery is presented. There are also booths with fashion jewellery, watches, but also goldsmith’s supplies, pearls and jewellery stones. The fair is aimed especially at professional experts, such as jewellers, watchmakers, blacksmiths and also tradesmen from the industry.
